Jon Shayne considers his most valuable lessons on investing to have come from his study of the records of investors he admires, especially Warren Buffett and Bill Ruane. Jon founded Shayne & Co, LLC, one of our two predecessor firms, in 1994.
Bill Jacobs CFA, CFP® began his professional investment career in 1993 at Harris Associates in Chicago, IL. During his 13 years at Harris, he moved up from junior research analyst to portfolio manager to partner. In 2006, Bill started his own firm, Jacobs Investment Management, LLC, in his hometown of Nashville.
